NAFCO Expands Industrial Project Delivery Capabilities with Powell Construction Asset Purchase | Supply Chain Dive

Birmingham, AL - Aug. 12, 2026 - NAFCO today announced it has completed an asset purchase transaction with Powell Construction Company, acquiring certain operating assets and assuming certain liabilities in connection with the transaction. The addition brings Powell’s project development, engineering support, project management, jobsite coordination, and construction expertise into the NAFCO family.

Together, NAFCO, Wolf Point Engineers, and Powell Construction Company strengthen NAFCO’s ability to support customers across fabrication, engineering, EPC, construction, and project delivery. The expanded NAFCO family brings together specialized expertise for complex industrial work.

The addition strengthens NAFCO’s ability to support customers across a broader range of industrial project needs, from early planning and engineering support through fabrication, construction coordination, and field execution. Powell Construction will continue to serve its customers with the same commitment to quality, safety, accountability, and partnership that has defined its work, now supported by the broader resources and capabilities of NAFCO.
